Year 5/6 Indoor Athletics

On Friday 22nd November Longfield took part in the Harrow Indoor Athletics Championship. The event was divided between track and field activities. Longfield were strong in the sprints, winning several relays. The endurance activities proved a little tougher however we were delighted to take three 1st place, two 2nd place and three 3rd in the track. The children chose their favourite field activities and split into different parts of the hall. All children performed to a high standard and had a lot of fun on the day.
