We are lucky to have a very supportive Parents Association, the PFL, who have been an integral part of the school community for many years.
It exists not only to raise funds for the school community but brings together staff, parents, children, and friends socially in support of the school working towards a common goal.

A Message from the Chair, Dareen Zakaria:
"The PFL is made up of parents and staff who volunteer and come together for the benefit of the children at Longfield. Our aim is to enrich the lives of the pupils of this school, with things that the children will remember for many years to come. The PFL organise events throughout the year such as Fairs and Bazaars, book sales, cake sales, uniform sales, and School Discos. Funds we have raised through these events have provided pupils with reading books, playground equipment, indoor games, visits from authors, health and fitness workshops, trips to the theatre and cinema, as well as leavers presents on a yearly basis.
We rely solely on volunteers and are always looking for new inspiring ideas.
If you would like to know more about what we do on a regular basis, you are very welcome to come along to our meetings, which take place once a month during term times.
