Details:
Sewing Club is one of the most creative clubs where children will develop their dexterity and fine motor skills while having fun with friends.
Sewing can be a tool for teaching important life skills such as perseverance, patience, concentration, and creativity. Each week the children will learn new skills while taking part in fun challenges such as designing patterns, decorations, puppets, animals, toys and much more!.
The children start with the basics of sewing, from threading a needle, securing a button, to practicing different sewing techniques (running stitch, basting stitch, backstitch, invisible stitch etc.)
Trophies are awarded each week for effort and creativity.
What to bring:
*A drink
*A healthy snack such as fruit to eat before the lesson if desired
Medical needs
Children with medical needs such as asthma, or severe allergies that require an epi-pen must provide the club with a bag of medication to keep at the club for the duration of the booking. Failure to provide this may result in your child not being allowed to attend.
