Visits and Workshops
Each year group will make one or two visits during the school year to a place of interest which supports their learning.
In addition all year groups often make local visits to parks, shops and places of worship etc.
At different times of the year, the children perform in concerts. Each class chooses an area of their work for a special sharing assembly that parents, carers and governors are invited to attend once a year.
During the school year we hold a range of enrichment activities which have included Art Day, a Book Week, Keeping Safe Week and Healthy School’s Week.
We also invite visitors from the local community into school to support the children’s learning. These visitors include:
- Parents and relatives to talk about aspects of religion, family life, history and share experiences of other countries.
- Theatre in Education groups
- Artists
- Dancers
- Charity representatives
