Woodland Hawking Experience at the Grove - Monday 20th Jan 2020
On Monday 20th January Longfield took 12 children to The Grove in Watford to take part in a fantastic Woodland Hawking experience. Children learned about the training of different birds, and the commitment and trust required to develop relationships, followed by a walk where birds flew above us as we walked. This really was a special day, and all children experienced the bird landing on their arm from a tree above.
